Recently, I was invited by KidloLand to try their educational app that is geared for children under the age of 5. Since my son is just under the age of 2, I jumped at the chance to check it out.
The app is loaded with a wide variety of nursery rhymes, stories, games, puzzles, and songs for learning the ABC’s, numbers, and more. The cute, colourful animation immediately grabbed my toddlers attention. So far his favourite activity is playing the popping game:
The aspect that I like most about KidloLand is how interactive it is. Even when you’re using the songs or stories feature there is always something that children can click on to make things move. It’s a really fun tool that promotes learning through play.
While the app is free to download only a few items are available without charge. The rest can be purchased and accessed through a subscription. What’s great is that the in-app settings are protected from our littles. In order to access the settings you must first answer a random, simple math question. This is a great feature to avoid any toddler from accidentally making in-app purchases.
I highly recommend KidloLand to everyone. It’s easy to use, lots of fun, and best of all it’s educational. Learning through play is so important and this app definitely makes the cut.
